OUR VESSELS
CORMORANT is a very sea worthy 26 foot inflatable rigid hull type vessel. It is very well equipped with life raft, modern electronics, heated cabin, walk around deck and twin 115 H.P. Yamaha outboard engines . This vessel is usually stored in our heated warehouse on a trailer giving it mobile capability to travel to any location required. This vessel has a top speed of 40 knots, with an operational speed of around 20 knots. As with all our vessels, it is topped up with fuel and all systems checked regularly to have it ready for immediate emergency response or just to take some tourists out for a day cruise. The vessel is certified for 6 passengers with 2 crew.

M.V. INNOVATION
INNOVATION was first purchased from Norway by the Marine Institute to be used as a research project in being the ultimate fishing boat for the Newfoundland fishery. It is very seaworthy and adaptable to be used for many commercial and recreational requirements. It is 30 feet long with a 10-foot beam and powered by twin BMW diesel inboard engines, with heavy duty commercial grade MerCruiser outdrives. The vessel is presently on refit and has been updated to have modern electronics and equipment to bring it up to the high standards of our other vessels. It is being equipped for utmost comfort and safety of crew and passengers. This vessel is expected to be in service in Spring of 2024

LANDING CRAFT SERVICES
ROYAL SEA is a 36' long X 12' wide landing craft. The vessel is Transport Canada certified as a work/passenger vessel allowed to carry up to 14 people. This vessel is powered by twin 175 H.P. Volvo diesel engines with industrial outdrives, making it highly maneuverable with a top speed of approximately 22 knots and an operational speed of 9-12 knots. It has a flat ribbed bottom allowing operation in shallow water. The wheelhouse is heated and has a washroom. The vessel is equipped with modern electronic and navigation equipment as well as life raft and a full complement of safety equipment,
The craft has a 21-foot x 11-foot deck area with a bow ramp to allow transportation of up to six metric tons of cargo or equipment that can be offloaded directly to the shoreline. This craft is well suited to many types of service such as dock repair, transport of small excavator, tractor or all-terrain vehicles to areas not accessible by land, support of hydrographic and oceanographic projects, etc., etc. Being a certified oil spill response company, this vessel is well suited in providing professional oil spill response services.
